No one understands her. They think she have it all under control. Everyone assumes she is perfectly happy. She has no big problems or fears. “She is a wonderful girl”, “why can’t you be like her”, “she’s so innocent and virtuous”, these are the lies they say. She sits alone at night and cries, constant battle in her mind; no one should be like her. Completely false exterior completely confused and ruined interior. Sweat soaks her body; tears explode her eyes, and pain courses through her veins. It seems no end comes for the girl who in the day is perfect. No one can see the war that is waged at night inside of her; no one even cares to look. Always the saying “evil hides in the night”, for her it hides in the day. Day after day she laughs and loves, but when the night comes she cries, hates, and hopes for the end. Confused by her own sufferings she is losing her mind and will to carry on. Days seem so short, nights so long. Nothing is as it should be any more. Fun is never really fun, love is often times over shadowed by hurt and hate, laughter is faked, and God seems like a fairytale. “What a wonderful Christian she is”, “she is such a God Warrior”, again these lies are like puke to her ears. If only they knew, how can they, she will never tell. She is stuck in her perfect lie. No one must know her truths. She cannot even turn to the one who already knows them. If he really cared he would have stopped the things that control her at night. He would have saved her from her past. Why did he not? No, she must never tell a soul, mortal or immortal. She must hide all, keep the lies going. She is perfect, life is wonderful for her. She has it all, looks, the Lord, and most important, her virtues. Now doesn’t she seem perfect! That’s the way it will always look to the world. This girl will hide forever, never to find peace, never to escape her past. Look here she comes now, bow down and stare in wonder at her. This is the way the world will see her. Only God and Devils know what she really is, devils know her best. This is reality for the perfect girl.
