So many people have not a clue what love really is about, and that is fine because they will never agree with me, and I will never with them.
|
What is love
that struggles to say just three words
that cannot hug
finds chastity absurd.
What is love
that insist one is right
cannot say sorry
before midnight.
What is love
that vexes with the tongue
beats another
into submission.
What is love
that hates morality
abandons their children
just to be free.
What is romance
it is saying I Love You
and just a little old fashioned
makes it last
many years through.

An excellent poetic piece on love. Well done!
Love - we can't see it but we would die for it.
They say God is love.
Well, perhaps He is.... |

You said a lot in these few words… With a lot of truth in it. As long as lust reigns free, it will be difficult to say, “I love you,” and mean it.
