To my God fearing wife.

10052011

4K

I view thee with a pellucidity crystal clear,

Though I would think no crystal is as dear,

At least to me who sees you as the Dove,

That bears the message of eternal love.

For I yet catch my breath lest you do go

As quick as one might see in flight a doe,

To vanish in the tranquil realms of fate,

Obscured behind an opaque magic gate.

Where in idle time I’d want to follow you,

Knowing the host would not allow me through.

For all that dwells beyond deaths dreary fall,

Is yours alone to walk or not at all,

For I’ll meet death believing it the end,

While you in faith shall from this life transcend.
