Veggie Risktaker

I really admire these abilities
but
like or unlike---
the knight in the "Seventh Seal"
one look at
DEATH
looking over my shoulder and
I’m ready to eat my veggies.

Diet
Like I always wanted to as a young boy.
Get myself as far as possible
out of the food chain
of eat and be eaten

Yup
grape juice
and tomato juice,
complex carbohydrates
plenty of fruit and flavanoids
black and green tea
and 44% less chance of heart
and cancer problems

That’s for me

This poem (September, 1999) deals with a life - long conflict about health, diet and eating my veggies. The poem becomes a marker in the expansion and definition of the InnerRESOURCES 8 ideas ecosystem.
