A sparkler embe ds
dazzling streaks into
omitted minds.

As the clock unwinds,
hands that were held tightly
are now unable to seize
each other.
They instead reach towards
and idealize others who are
there already.

Most float to a pedestal
alone,
as many strain
their necks
to hold onto a glimpse
of the one who got away.

Very unique and different, but in a very good way. You made me like the world "pedestal", lol, don't ask. Otherwise, I enjoyed it a lot. It really showed truth here in your theme.
