The sun comes
Over the trees
With its warmth and smile --
Morning has begun.
Creatures of the Earth
Stretch as they wake, rustling around
With their rituals and routines
While birds sing
To the dew pearl strands
Worn by the grass
And flower petals.
The world blossoms
Into a beautiful day,
Which are among
The many blessings
God gives us everyday.

This is comforting in a world that lately seems to be sooo much gloom and doom...yet, if we take the time we can still find so much beauty around us free to enjoy.
