A small offering for All Hallows Eve... |
|
In shadows dark they wait and lurk
They were a motley crew
Loners, prostitutes, bums and more
In life, they paid their dues
Now, but now their time is sweet
They live a glamorous life
Money is a worry no more
They've escaped life's daily strife
But when sun dips, as dusk falls
That's when their mission begins
To seek out the sweet and innocent
And cleanse them of their "sins"
They lure with their seductive power
The humans have no chance
The promise of a sexual tryst
Their souls have joined the dance
They sway to the haunting melody
With feet as light as air
They never even realize
They've been caught up in a lair
Then, woe is he, who demons see
As Flesh divine, so sweet
A bite, a moan and life is gone
With one swift slash of teeth
