Poem from the perspective of a thief's knife. |

I thirst
I wish to swim again
That sweet crimson ribbon
Spilling past me
As I slip inside
I drink
Warm red richness
He grips me tightly
As I dive once again
I am sated
I have completed my work
Dripping liquid shadow
In the soft moon's light
A quick bath
The cold river
Then to sleep
Until I thirst again.
