What a friend is he
He was born in Bethlehem
But now he lives in me

He's a babe no more
He died once for all our sins
But he'll live forever more
One day I went to church
My friends invited me
The preacher said some things
He seemed to know about me
He said that I could find
No peace within my life
And that is when I met this friend
His name is Jesus Christ

That day I went to church
I heard the preacher say
Someone here needs saving
Just come down and pray
I knew it was my turn
To answer the Lord's call
So running to the altar
Before him I did fall

| I LOVE it! Beautiful alternative to "Jingle Bells!" (May copy this to have; I am definitely puttin' this in my library! This is a keeper and a surefire winner!)
