Although our Yorkie is a loveable and sweet dog, there are times…..
|
The Yorkie is a terrorist
There is no doubt at all.
He can be a vicious dog,
Yet he's only one foot tall.
No dog will ever best him,
When they play out in the yard.
He'll stand his ground, his chest poked out
His bite both quick and hard.
The Yorkie has a lion's heart,
They're fearless it is known.
They'll frighten any animal,
That loves its own leg bone.
While at the airport, please beware
Of a purse that's on the blacklist.
The woman holding that great bag,
May hide a Yorkshire Terrorist.

Geez! I hope he's not a member of any extremist group! Just kidding. Yorkies are lovable little guys. I can tell you're happy by this wonderful poem for him.

Great poem for a great breed of our "kids". Harry, my Yorkie was as you have written here and to this day, so many years now without him, I still get a burning behind my eyes when passing where his ashes are spread.

| A great ode to a great little dog, and I think most of the little ones do have a lion's heart. |
