The Phoenix When smoke and dust have given way, When ashes settle, soft and still, When rainbow’s end falls cold and gray, A phoenix borne of Hope and Will Shall rise to sweep it all aside And light the gloom where shadows hide. The firebird, aloft, lends proof: There is but one eternal Truth.
