The Phoenix

For every new day, one must end, to let the phoenix rise again.

The Phoenix

When smoke and dust have given way,
When ashes settle, soft and still,
When rainbow’s end falls cold and gray,
A phoenix borne of Hope and Will
Shall rise to sweep it all aside
And light the gloom where shadows hide.

The firebird, aloft, lends proof:
There is but one eternal Truth.
