It's been ten and a half months since Richard died, and I'm slowly moving forward in life with out him. |
|
It has been a very hard year for my family and me. My husband was loved by all of us and has been greatly missed. His death had a definate impact on our once close family and it was torn apart as many tried to cope with our loss. It has been an emotional roller coaster as we all struggled in various ways to come to terms with every thing.
Finally things are settleing down and our family is becoming a cohesive unit again.
We stiil miss him and I know we always will. He left a great legacy behind and God willing, perhaps all will live up to the priniciples and values he instiied in each of them.
I still mourn and miss him a lot, but the pain of loss is not as life shattering as it was. Goals have been set and I am striving to acheive them.
My family, friends and church have helped me so much!
I have been going to Grief Share which enables people to cope with the loss of their loved ones. It has helped many of us to go forward in life.
A new poetry book of Inspirational poems I've written has just published. It's called, "Beyond Forever" and I dedicated it to Richard. It will be available on Amazon, Create Space, or can be purchased through me in a few weeks.
I am slowly recovering from a stroke which I had in April. My Alzheimers has progressed some, but I am stiil able to remember most things pretty well. I can still drive and attend to things that need to be done. Thankgoodness it's progressing slowly!
I have not been on Authors Den much lately. Many thanks to all who have taken the time to visit my den and leave encouraging messages. They have helped immensely. Blessings to all of you. Love, Mary Grace

| I hope you continue to gain strength via that love bond...his passing away did not change that and for that reason alone, you must also continue to take care of yourself even more. |

Dear MaryGrace,
Thank you for those very encouraging words! You have NO idea what an inspiration and a blessing you are to all in AD. Yes, I will be among the fist to order your book. We all need each other in this world and as hard as it is to admit it for some (I was one long ago) we all need the Lord. Don't ever underestimate His purpose for your life, for it is bigger than the eye can see and the mind can imagine.
God bless you!
Peace, Love, and Blessings,
John Michael Domino |
