Tick Tock

The older you become the faster the clock seems to tick away the hours.
Perhaps it is because we move slower
and do not wish to compete in this fast
moving world.

Tick Tock

Tick Tock - Tick Tock
With every breath
I take

With every step
I make

Brings me closer
To the Lord

How I long to see
His face

How I want
His fond enbrace

The old clock
Clicks on

Here we are
In time

Soon there will be
No time

For we are
Heaven bound

Trapped in
The body am I

A prisoner
But I will fly out

Into the arms of
My beloved

No longer will I hear
Tick Tock

From that old clock
On my kitchen wall
