Look at the picture, look at the child, it is a reflection of yourself or are you one of them that wished destiny could have placed you there?
To the late, it is nothing wrong with you...you were given the wrong, the cold stones.
|
Even stones appears to be soft
when they represent an act of love,
a child between his parents…
and nothing more,
just an infinite tenderness
that are the real walls of home.
That child could had been a bird
protected on a nest of thorns,
from the intrusion of polar winds
or circling in the sky, the predators,
it will be protected by
motherly feathers against Jack Frost.
Many a man or a woman will see what
they wanted as a child on the stones,
the arms of Dad all around
and the warmth from the heart of Mom,
no more lonely orphan is there
that the ones that parental love left alone.
Look at the picture and tell me sincere
that the child in the picture is you so,
because many will envy you to have had
what they were promised and had not,
to be a bird like. a little child surrounded
by the arms of Dad and the Heart of Mom.

Very moving poem Georg. To a child of any age the love it receives is the foundation of what he/she will become. The more love the better person.
Hugs and Love,

| Only in Sweden the land of Eden, and here and there a few, yes I think though, birds do a better job, if they could only keep the biggest predator away, not mentioned. Concrete jungles, even wooden ones don't lend themselves to building better nests, with adults of better parenting skills. or for that matter love. LOve has to be shared not just at home, but all around, it has to become a culture,,,,,The sculpture is a great metaphor, Hugs! Jasmin Horst |

this is so emotionally deep Georg…and reflective too (tissues please)
penetrates my heart where beautiful memories of love are cultivated
nurturing the very depths this most precious innate gift
I know I am most thankful to know these gifts given to me by my creators of love
Though their presence was short lived here on earth
“just an infinite tenderness
that are the real walls of home.”
Peace, Love & Inspiration

Georg,
Powerful, powerful, in image and verse ... would that all children would not have parents made of stone. :( Well done.

What a marvelous sculpture and poem. If only every child born on this earth could experience the same. |
