I think it a blessing that God allows us to have dreams, especially of our loved ones who have gone to be with Him...somehow it's comforting!
Mommy, Please Don’t Go
It seemed to take forever
Before I saw her in my dreams
I prayed and waited…waited and prayed
Each night that I would
Once again see her smiling face!
Then one night in a dream she was there
Sitting at the dining table
With my siblings and I;
She was wearing a pink armless dress
With a white T-shirt beneath;
A floral scarf tied
Ever so pretty upon her head;
She was smiling ever so gently…as if all was well!
Then when our meal was over
She rose, heading for the door, as if to leave;
When she reached for the doorknob
I called: “Mommy…please don’t go!”
Thereupon she stopped, her back to us,
Her hand hovering over the knob;
Slowly she turned…smiled…but
If she left, I do not know…
For the next instant

|Still much to do, dear Keep the flow of words in rhyme or alliteration, just keep writing until such time as God calls you home...by then it wouldn't matter if any tears are shed, 'cause there will be much rejoicing in heaven.
Hugs, and best wishes always

|Oh my ... I thought I was a bit titched when my mother met me several times in my dreams and we smiled. Remembering that: "to be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord" for those 'in' Christ, I find comfort in it now, even if it's only just a work of my own sub-conscious. I will admit, Lena, that everything that I've accomplished artistically, since my mother passed in 1998, I have secretly dedicated to her. Your write reminded me of all the good that we shared. Peace and abundant blessings to you friend ... richard|

A beautiful dream, one that I hope gave you peace. I miss my Dad and Mom and my brother, and picture them walking around in Heaven with no tears and no pain, just perfect peace, waiting for me and my other siblings. I've wanted to have some kind of sign they were Ok, but so far I haven't. I pray they are with Jesus. I know one day when He's ready I will be.

|A visitation dream!
This brings me to tears, Lena, because in your sadness of missing her you found her in your dream, a message between you, and she was happy, and there will always be such a bond between you.
