On This Side Of Fire

On this side of fire,
The passion rages higher,
Skis of crimson red,
Where flame and passion wed.

On this side of fire,
All hunger for desire,
Before us a wall,
And a wish for it to fall.

On this side of fire,
All admire,
Passion soars,
Behind locked doors.

On this side of fire,
Behind barbed wire,
I am alone,
Faced with icy stone.

On this side of fire,
Rage flies higher,
And I do tire,
Of being on this side of fire.
