Last night I saw you in a dream
I was telling you not to go away
When I woke up, I wanted to scream
It was just another lonely day
Another lonely day without you near
I still hope to see you come in
To comfort and brush away my tears
I wonder, will you be back again?
I alway dream of us on the beach
Forever in you arms, I wish I could stay
You are just within my reach
When you and the beach fade away
I cry out for you in the night
To come and hold me please
Oh God, You are gone from my life
Then I feel an ocean breeze
Was it just my imagination?
Or was it maybe reality?
Have I made you and obsession?
Again, it's you I have to see
I close my eyes to fall asleep,
Dreams, the only place you exist
I see you, with joy I start to weep
You move toward me, my lips you finally kiss
I wonder if there will ever be
Someone who has loved me so passionately
Like the one man by the sea
Who will love me endlessly?
