I don't understand

How you don't see me

Sitting here

Right before your eyes

I sit and ponder

All the things

Going through you mind

As you look right by

I sit and wonder

Why you don't see

When I'm right here

Waiting for you diligently

You seem to see everything

Yet you don't see me

We sit and talk

But your gaze always falls away

I don't understand

How I can see you

But you don't see me

How can you be so blind?

Alexandra, it is true that the best defense is often a well planned offense. Ron Hull's suggestion is one with much merit for your situation. I wish you success, love and peace my dear friend - Jon Michael

I sense here that he doesn't find what you say or do interesting anymore. I think you should ignore him and develop new interests, he will suddenly become interested because he will think you are leaving him. And maybe, that's just what you should do––just leave.

Your verses awaken thoughts and emotions, Alexandra; and sadly, the theme you share is a universal and timeless one in this world/life. Thank you. Love and best wishes to you,

Regis
