A poem that my granddaughter wrote for me when she was nine years old.
|
Happy Mother's day to all mothers and grandmothers, I would like to share this poem, that my granddaughter wrote for me when she was nine years old.
Grandma
Grandma is someone who...
Takes good care of me
Cooks delicious food
Buys me stuff that I need
I remember...
When I was little, she tried to act like Sam I AM
When she tried to do karate
When she tried to sing and dance
Grandma...
You are a wonderful parent
When I grow up, I want to be like you
You are very loving and caring
Love ,
Tamyra

The poems from our children's hearts are precious and priceless. Yesterday several of my children wrote me poems for Mother's Day. After I read each of them, one of my daughters said, "Now we are all poemers." I couldn't figure out what she was talking about as I kept running that word "poemers" over and over in my head. Finally, one of my other children explained to her that people who write poems are called poets, not poemers. hee, hee... I don't know... I kind of like that term... poemer...hee, hee...
