Deep Down Inside

Below the lump,
way down deep inside
is a place where fear cant reside.
Its a secret spot reserved just for God
where he sits, smiles and gives approving nods.
He is resting on the throne of your soul
where He is ready to let goodness and mercy unfold.
And yes He already knows everything will be okay
And that you are definitely here to stay.
After all there is much more work to be done.
More good times, more laughter and
good old-fashioned fun.
So although the lump is there for now,
hold your head up high and never bow.
The good Lord is totally in control and
He can handle any feat.
as the Good Book has told.
And yes he will take care of whatever ails,
just believe that He never ever fails.
Hold tight to what lies deep down inside.
Where God dwells and our Lord abides.
