Society creates the monsters

Fear and ignorance give them faces

We build them with our thoughts

Arming them with swords and maces

Their powers are what we give them

Then we build ourselves no shield

We all become the victims

Of the powers our monsters wield

Only ourselves can be the army

To defeat the beasts we make

We build them with our minds

Then their powers our minds must take
