A non-constructive critique,
May cause one to shriek.
One tries to understand if the intent is being playful,
Or just downright hurtful.
Some can even be unethical,
Providing others with a short term chuckle.
It isn’t fair that one person’s evaluation,
Becomes lasting public opinion.
Perhaps you are a big threat,
Which turns one towards regret.
Not everyone is able to see,
Exactly who they want to be.
Don’t let others steal your happiness,
Take control of your self-esteem with finesse.
For you know within,
No one can attack your integrity, which lies deep within.
