This was the poem I wrote for someone who was once the love of my life, the day we got engaged. No, not all love stories end happily, but its a blessing to still believe in love. |

Loving You
I love you like a new beginning, mind, body and spirit.
I love you with my heart, I need you with my soul,
you are truly the very first person, that
I have ever trusted completely..
You are now a gentle, and treasured part of my soul,
A new and beautiful beginning to my heart and my soul,
My life has begun anew, since, the moment, my very being,
Became aware of the love of you,
Not loving you is not living,
As I contemplate, my life, all I see is newness, peace,
And Loving You….

| Welcome to Authorsden. I enjoyed reading your poem. Very nicely done. You're right, all stories don't end happily. It is a blessing to always believe in love. |
