This is another Christmas poem that I have tinkered with during last several Christmas holidays.
Basically, it is about why we as Christians celebrate the holiday, the reasons why, and how we go about celebrating Christmas, and how much the holiday season is so beautiful, wonderful, glorious and magical.
|
Christmas is a time for celebration
We celebrate the earthly birth
Of the Almighty's glorious son
We celebrate our Lord's birth
Christmas is a time for celebration
We celebrate the gift of giving
And the togetherness of family relations
We celebrate with joyous singing
Christmas is a time for celebration
Let us celebrate with colorful lights
And beautiful glistening decorations
Let us celebrate Christmas's beautiful sights
Let us all enjoy the glorious celebration
As we savor the beautiful holiday
Let us all enjoy the magical celebration
As we savor the wonderful holiday

Your theme fits very nicely with the songs that the two choirs of which I am privileged to be a member, are currently getting ready to present at the seasonal concerts. Thank you for sharing this apt and timely write, Stephen. Love and peace to you,
