A man encounters a creature of the night.

Chorus: Damn Vampire— Damn Vampire—
               Damn Vampire— Damn Vampire—

1.    I was drowning my sorrow in a hard-luck dive.
Heart in pieces, when trouble arrived.
Those dangerous curves and whispery voice,
Took over my mind, I had no choice.
She drew me in like darkness, and led me away.
Her claws came out, she started to play.
Soft and yielding, then sharp as a knife,
We went through hell to reach paradise.

Chorus: Damn Vampire— Damn Vampire—
                Damn Vampire— Damn Vampire—

2.  Morning came and she left me, fading like a dream.
Too tired to pray, too broken to scream,
Death leaned over, but I wouldn’t go.
I waved him away, people gotta know.
She’s a shadow in the night, on stiletto heels,
A heart of ice, looking for thrills.
Protect your wallets, and credit cards,
Whatever she gets, she spends it hard.

Chorus: Damn Vampire— Damn Vampire—
               Damn Vampire— Damn Vampire—

Cres:  Damn Vampire— drained my soul—
Damn Vampire spun me outta control—
Damn Vampire, left me for dead—
Damn Vampire, Can’t get her outta my head—

Chorus: Damn Vampire— Damn Vampire—
               Damn Vampire— Damn Vampire—
               Damn Vampire— Damn Vampire—
               Damn Vampire— Damn Vampire—

There's a lot of vamps out there in those dives. They'll suck the life out of you if you let them. They like to hang around military posts because that's where they're a lot of young man with money and time on their hands when they are on leave.

Would like to hear the melody.
