They sat by the bar
Listening
To the band
One took the other's hand
Jell-o shots
Is what they were drinking
The one wanted
To sit at a table
She wished
To stay where she was
Finally she was persuaded
That table was way in the back
In the dark
For those who wanted
Privacy
Let's just go home
No, said the other woman
It is the excitement
Of doing something
In the open-
They started out
With kissing and then-
Unbuttoning
Zippers opened
Hands entered
Giving relief
In the dark

PS. Never had a Jell-O shot. How do you drink something that you have to eat with a spoon because you can't eat it with chopsticks? ;-)
