I've gone back to work, just a part-time job at the local arts and crafts store
A jill-of-all-trades is my employee's learning phase
But I'm out of my element, a fish out of water
At the mere mention of raffia, matte varnish, or glaze
Please ask about crayons, soap making and beads
or where the restroom might be
I've had some experience with paint-by-number, plastic canvas and stickers
decoupage, rubber stamping, and embroidery
I've been steadily working for the last five days
Muscles aching, body's tired, constant hobby overload
The cash register scans a million-and-one combinations
Creative craftings, mind-boggling and numerous, I've hit the artistic motherlode
