In the Beginning
Could have breast cancer
No one would tell me anything
'til I demanded them!
Don't always assume
everyone is afraid of
their diagnosis
The tumor is removed
via sentinel lymph node
biopsy method
Stage 1 bc
statistics not accurate
not a death sentence
Now the Chemo
Chemotherapy
Not one size fit all, not all
get all side effects
With chemo mornings
no longer my friend takes
longer to get going
Rebound chemo terms
is when you start building up
your blood count levels
Chemo sucks it requires
being proactive
managing side effects
Some alternatives
aromatherapy and
acupuncture too
My breast cancer journey officially began on October 13, 2008. I was diagnosed with stage I breast cancer on that date and chemotherapy is a rough treatment to have to go through. Since 2006, I have participated in Breast Cancer walks sponsored by Susan G. Komen and I have information on breast cancer posted on my AnDzi Gallery web site as well as Squidoo. The information that I posted may have saved my life.
