A Blessed Zephyr

A warm breeze can sometimes do wonders.

The zephyr that blew her love to me
was gentle and full of hope for two.
I opened tired eyes in time to see
long standing dreams had come true .

She carried with her a love sublime
that had been searching for my heart.
It was like the missing part of a rhyme,
lingering for impetuous for some time.

Her eyes spoke volumes tender touched
while her smile softened every minute.
Nothing felt forced or remotely rushed,
it was like a fantasy with both of us in it.

When love transfers without any strings
hanging loose, that can be snatched away,
Each hungry heart involved summarily sings
a song that blesses this most magical day.

The zephyr that blew her love to me
was a breeze of comfort and sweet belief.
It was calm yet exquisitely fluttery,
my receptive heart was its quivering leaf.

The delicious joining of our empty hands
gave new meaning to life as we knew it.
We’d wandered separately on golden strands
looking for love and this zephyr blew it.

We shall tenderly and slowly stroke this prize
allowing it to grow into an emotional gale.
With care and respect and a bit of compromise
we’ll cement a blessed union that cannot fail.

You are in my thought and prayers this
New Years Eve, a new start meant to last.
Let us seal our new love with a spirited kiss,
mutual loneliness is now a thing of the past.
