Fairy Tale

At first it was almost like a fairy tale
Loving each other forevermore
Then reality started to show
And the loving wasn’t so more
She denied what really happened
Because she wanted love to be.
But everyone that surrounded her
Said he was no good, as he seemed to be
They said he wasn’t Prince Charming
Like he first appeared
He hurt all of her kin and closest
By his hurtful words they hear
But to her he was still the one
Until he started hurting her
Now it’s over and it’s done
Except that she learned from him
That love isn’t real,
Unless the people around you
Know exactly how you feel
And understand the way you melt
When he looks into your eyes
Because if you don’t have support in your love
Perhaps there are some lies
Are you fooling yourself?
Please hear me as I plea
Don’t listen only to your heart
Because your head will set you free
Yes, You may have a broken heart
And that may take some mending
But is it really worth the pain
Of the fellow hearts you are bending?
Because life is not a fairly tale.
