War made me as blind as a bat It took my sight away from me My eyes are watching but not seeing My ears are listening but not hearing My heart is not pumping but bleeding It is sympathizing with the sick child It is weeping for that poor mother I raise my voice. Many hear my cries But very few share the pain with me I am borrowing light from the dark I am begging strength from the weak Only a government can come to my rescue But it will not be born without birth defects It is the product of two evil parents Tribe fell in love with politics IGAD was called to officiate marriage Conception has already taken place Somalia is pregnant It will soon give birth Let's wait and see Let's receive that child Let's see where it has the problem Let's not bury the unborn ��
