We desperately need a government

War made me as blind as a bat
It took my sight away from me
My eyes are watching but not seeing
My ears are listening but not hearing
My heart is not pumping but bleeding
It is sympathizing with the sick child
It is weeping for that poor mother
I raise my voice. Many hear my cries
But very few share the pain with me
I am borrowing light from the dark
I am begging strength from the weak
Only a government can come to my rescue
But it will not be born without birth defects
It is the product of two evil parents
Tribe fell in love with politics
IGAD was called to officiate marriage
Conception has already taken place
Somalia is pregnant
It will soon give birth
Let's wait and see
Let's receive that child
Let's see where it has the problem
Let's not bury the unborn

"...i raise my voice. many hear my cries
but very few share the pain with me..."

o, dear (((brother))), this is powerful, heartwrending...no one can truly know unless they are where you are...or unless you keep raising your voice. keep shouting--you are being heard by many here at AD, and above all, by God.

((((((HUGS)))))), love and continued prayers, your sister, karla. :(

I raise my voice. Many hear my cries
But very few share the pain with me
I am borrowing light from the dark
I am begging strength from the weak

And never give that striving up. Never. Regardless of what comes forth.

"Let's Not Bury The Unborn" is a Voice for fairness... Impressive poilitical for Justice.

It is up to the people to decide whetther they want to remain slave of forged leaders, or stand up for Justice and build a country of human beings.

Never rest Your pen, Sublime Poet!

You have your heart set on a government, I wish you luck. I enjoyed the heartfelt expression.

"In free governments the rulers are the servants and the people their superiors and sovereigns." - Benjamin Franklin

I hope the people of your nation are able to take their rightful place.
