Addicted to Work

...if I had not work to do,
would I die,
would I cry,
would I at the least sigh...?

Addicted to Work…

Parades & cookouts,

Camping with scouts,

Fishing the lake for trout,

Living alone we both go without…

A day to just vegetate,

A day to be with my mate,

Though she is not here in body,

Her spirit lives on beyond her past fate…

What to do with nothing to do?

One does feel altogether blue,

Nothing to eat not even some stew,

Actually I am addicted to work,

But what the hell else is new…?

Well, your addictions seem to be evolving... but work? ICK! If I didn't have to, I wouldn't... anywhere!

Ahhhhhh... to be free of other people's rules... but I bend them as far as I can. Life is too short to answer to others, yet we do.

I'm trying to babble, so I can ignore the heavy feeling I have thinking of you all alone, sounding lonely. Does Ruffie play cards? how 'bout Scrabble? Go down to the ocean... she will empower you. katy xox
