Why I Love Being Me... by Timothy James Foley Sunday, May 12, 2002 Share Print Save Become a Fan I had a question once. Who would you be? Me? Said I. Me. Answered. I would be me forevermore, because I love the things I create. From the shitty little drawings in my old note pad. To every word I put in this poem. I love the way the wind plays on my face. The way that it feel just to me. I love the way that I see the stars, And the way that I feel they see me. I love my brand of humor. I love my wit and poise. I love the fact that I can plug myself, To make it seem like I have no shame. I love the way that my fingers move. I love to make people smile. I love the way that I love the way, that I am simply me.
