A Christmas Delemma

It's getting to look a lot like Christmas.

What should I give on this fine Christmas Day?
Should I give costly presents? Is there no other way?
Should I be a big spender, like Santa or Nick?
Should I be a bit frugal, like Scrooge? -- Take your pick?

No! I'll try to be helpful and give of my time.
I'll save like a Scrooge and not spend a dime.
But time's just like money, in quite short supply
It's better than stockings or a bright gaudy tie.

Yes, folks, it's settled. I won't be like Scrooge.
Still, I'll save on the trinkets and the shopping deluge
Though I won't be like Santa or a Jolly Saint Nick.
I'll give of myself -- that's the route that I'll pick.

The End

The giving of self: perfect gift, all year 'round. Always the right color and size. :) No dilemma, here. :) Well done, Henry.

(((HUGS))), love and Happy New Year,

Karla.
