A Little Poem

Once I saw an Artic seal...

A little poem for you, my child
Do take a chair and listen
Once I saw an Artic seal
That, wet, did not have time to glisten
Another day I spied a mouse
Buying hammers to build a house
Then later I saw what seemed a deer
That, when confronted, felt no fear
A bit farther down a road
I came upon a thirsty toad
When asked if it drank Gatorade
All it croaked was, "Charade, charade."
I hope you liked this poem, my child
Though now I fear it's rather mild!

Enjoyed this much Randall...the teacher in me as well as a friend must say that I could envision this becoming a very cute childrens book that could teach rhyming words, which is a hard concept for young children, as well as teach maybe season, animals, the possibilities are endless! Great write!
