Passion of Spirit

heart's appreciation

Passion of Spirit
………………………………………………………………….

She had a tummy puff…
That little bulge,
Just below the belly button…
That we all get…or fight
Somewhere in middle age.

She tried to suck it in,
I noticed and chuckled…
To myself…
Once I knew her better,
I told her,
I think it’s the sexiest
Thing…a woman,
Can possess.

She wore one of those
Cross her heart bras,
Forming and holding…
Breasts high…
Where once they stayed,
Naturally.

I shook my head,
Unconsciously…thinking…
If she only knew,
How this man’s preference,
Was for real and complete woman…
Not what use to be,
Or what was made
To appear as such.

Love expressed,
With inhibition present,
Preoccupied and concern
Of naked appearance…
Is a thief in the bedroom…
Stealing total surrender
From the beauty of giving…
Ourselves…to each other.

Cast aside the hype
Of glamour…
Only skin deep,
Show me what’s inside…

Love me with your spirit.

I found this poem
Exilarating and about time, to be written!

Commercialism has changed so many views and ways of the world and yet it is the simpleness of true and honest thoughts of love and spirit that can find what ones heart really says....
