This summer I did an overhaul in my house reorganizing and painting. Upon finding a bag of feathers I use for crafts, admiring the bright colors I thought to myself, that this would be a cool effect on the walls......Wel,l with all the colors I had left over, I mixed more, and made feathery paint effects all over my dining room. Which acts as a craft/exercise room. It looks like a bag of feathers exploded all over the walls, I love it, it was so much fun to do. It's my house, and I can paint on the walls!!! Muuhaahaa Fun Paint Was there something you always wanted to do Silly things that nobody knew Childish, wildish, more than half of the like If anyone knew, they'd check out your psyche For years I'd the urge to scribble the walls Don't know the reason, cannot recall This summer I did more damage than scribble I painted my walls, with colors and dribble Every paint can, that I could find I put on the walls, in feathery lines A painters graffitti from mind to hand Upon my dining room walls did it land In decorating I've always been the mouse Beige and blue all over my house This summer, I had conservation erosion And painted each room in color explosion Purple, yellow, turquoise and red Amber and green, surround my bed Each room is unique, like a colorful rash I had the itch, and wanted to clash But my dining room is quite view Stuffed with my crafts, and treadmill too The colors excite my mind to run Making exercise a whole lotta fun Pax A November 8, 2007

Wow! This is exciting I love the pic of how it looks, that is wild and delightful! Go Tania Go!;-) We have the power to reinvent ourselves, but too few have the courage to do it! Brava! I'd love to see your house! Our homes should be a reflection of who we really are!Love it!

Girl after my own heart. When Mariah was smaler ( she's 24 now) she would invite all of her friends into her bedroom and give them colored pencils or paint and they would autograph her walls, do some far out art and created quite a masterpiece, That wall is still there as a memory to her youth. I say if your creativity is speaking....give it room. I love your masterpiece.
Love,
Susan |

| Crazy, but then I like people who do crazy things. Back in the turbulant sixties I papered my bathroom with tinfoil, with a hundred watt bulb hanging from the ceiling. Beside the door of the bathroom I had a box hanging with assorted sunshades, or as ZZ Top would say, Cheap Sun Glasses." You could used the bathroom and get a tan at the same time . . . Crazy!? Yep . . . |
