Snow Witch

She was here and she was there
As the bilzzard swirled the air
Round she danced on icy winds
Ivory ghost with crystal skin
Pirouetting in the skies
Sauntering through clouds on high
From her palms dropped diamond lights
Dazzle pinpoints on the night
Whirling crazed, free and unbound
Howling winds, then purring sounds
Danced the snow witch as she chose
Leaving all she pose

Dear Anita,

You have a gift. I think it's fairly easy to rhyme and much more difficult to write with a perfect rhythm. You do both so well and it makes your work a true pleasure to read.

You sure could give Hans Christian Anderson a run for his money, Darlin. Love this... could be a bigger hit than The Nutcracker if it were performed. So balletic and beautiful. Love, Kate xx

I always know when I click to read your poetry...I'm never disappointed. I feel the cool blue of her flesh and the dance that is absolutely animated with the wind as a backup.

I love the frosty vision this write seems to conjure up, as a Canuck we see a lot of blizzards up here and whiteouts and I have seen entire forests covered in a glaze of ice...your write is a kewl reminder to me of what is yet to come this winter.
