... some words send me to my safe place. |
|
Some words make my heart
so full and content.
Other words, with a bite
send me to a shelter.
The face of indifference
masks my fear and pain.
I am not running from
the love that is really there.
I just don't understand the
sting of accusation,
as though a mistake
was an intentional deed.
How can I avoid repeating
this misidentified error,
if you don't tell me with Love.
I don't know how to respond
to stop it, don't do that, when
I am unsure of the right way.
Words like 'I don't care' carry
the sharpest twinge.
If you love me, how can you
not care how I feel.
Please ask me my intent......
