Very short, why we wake up?

The night was one of tossing and turning like dead leaves do when a capricious and playful little breeze has nothing to do but mess around on the park, suddenly, for no reason, it gets quite and the world becomes a two dimensional picture that our eyes can't grasp.

Trembling and warmth,
I had her in my arms,
desperate wanted kiss
that should go forever,
but then, I wake up.

It is confusing isn't it, you'd think, kissing and loving, being such a most wonderful thing, should be the easiest to come by, yet it seems, you only get it in your dreams. Do you live in a monastery in Sweden? Just being curious ha, Blessings! Jasmin Horst

A marvelous twist at the end. It so happens quite often to people who live far away from sweet hearts holdding high hopes in their hearts to meet them in a dream as dreams are the only means of reconnecting with them. Well done George
