Nation of Imagination.

We could become this if only we all tried.

My mind is swept away to an imaginative nation.

A land where there is no recession; no inflation.

The nation where my mind wants to dwell

Is a land where all people are treated well?

There are no heartaches and no disappointments.

All serve and all dwell with the same God given anointments.

Every citizen of the nation of my imagination

Are a brother and sister of loving relation.

In this nation one wants only to give rather than receive.

If another has a burden, others give to relieve.

In this way the nation grows strong and prosperous.

The nation stands sturdy, strong and courageous.

This is a nation which was placed in my minds dream.

Could it be possible to attain or more impossible than it may seem?

I think something we should all continue to strive for, even if we never truly attain it.

I dearly wish that was possible, Lew. But, so long as every mind is full of ME ME ME, it isn't and won't be. This is what makes it possible for the powers-that-be to run amok -- because there is no WE to stop them. Still, there is you and me and our friends who can each make things better in our own little spheres, and that is good.

Wise dream of a possible nation... "Nation of Imagination" could and can be a real nation.

I have enjoyed the reading of "Nation of Imagination" for its inspiring and bountiful message; and for its poetic majestic.

I salute You, Poet.

Indeed that is the way it ought to be for all nations. It would be something if a least one of them showed the way. Fine thoughts, Lew. Thank you for sharing them. Love and peace,

If you ever discover this wonderful place Lew, let me know quick. Most peoples heart aches for a place like that. Somewhere it must exist.

Dear Lew,
I've lived long enough to remember the peaceful life. I doubt that I'll live long enough to see it again. I love your poem and the flag is a perfect illustration. How did you get it to center? Every time I try to use one it goes flush left.
