He wants to rent his house, but he couldn't,
She wants to sell her house, but she couldn't.
He wants to eat outside, but he thinks twice,
She wants to fly, but the cost is very high.
Grand Papa's Bank doesn't answer his calls.
Little Tommy's job is gone, the other day
his girl friend left the town -- she lost her home
to foreclosure. Madoff ate his Aunt's investment
and Lehman Brothers eroded his Uncle's savings.
His father is bankrupt. He doesn't have a single
penny. Glum is their face. The economy is in
doldrums. These poor creatures are the victims
of the bust. Collapses of the credit, banks are not
lending. Consumers are shaky; they are not spending.
Don't laugh folks, if not today, then tomorrow
the wolf of the recession shall lurk in your
back door and chew your financial core.
Ah! Poor financial regulations have led
the world's economy astray and the Politicians
meeting in a resort won't solve the World's
financial dismay. There meeting should be in the
slums, in front of millions of poor people. And if
they refute, these leeches should be dragged into
the slums and then only their eyes shall open,
and then only they will be compelled to see the
economic mess as it really is. The world economy
is in cold waters but these folks are drinking
hot tea in Davos. O' what a paradox!
