.
Irish music's something you've got to feel
It's got a huge universal appeal .
You'll hear harp and fiddle , music so fine
In the pub sessions after closing time.
There's water from Wexford , porter from Down ,reels and hornpipes , Irish music's the sound .
Jigs for the feet will take you down the street,
Traditional tap and toe you can't beat.
Its Contemporary and traditional ,Its Celtic and Folk ,Its original .
Its been handed down through generations .
It's the heart and soul of many nations . Its been transported , exported and shared .Its appreciated where its been heard .
They say Irish music is like a bug ,when it bites you it's difficult to shrug .
The Irish love to make music and song , so come on , let's join in and sing along .
