Waiting for dinner

In the boonies of winter

Cold though it may be

In the distance their hay

Approaching they see

Blowing winds of a Wyoming snow

On the plains & hills over winter they grow

Survive they will with little human help

Some hay every now & then though

To keep in touch with each other they yelp

Solitude they relish

As it looks to live there not hellish

Beyond the above & picture enclosed

One cannot help Nature with this scene embellish

I see that you are cooling off, now, have those horses wings?
When you become all poetic you scare the jebeezes out of our family?

Those horses look so cold and yes, hungry. Do they wonder what of their fate? Deep endearing thoughts...
