Sometimes the things that we endure may seem unbearable, yet God does not lie He promised He will not put more on us than we can bear. Very early this morning I heard in my ear, under arrest! then I responded yes Lord and I began to complain, reached for the pen and note pad and the pen wrote these words. May you be blessed as you read!

Under arrest
without duress
to do His will
for He paid the bill
I could not pay
so I leave my old way
under arrest
without duress
I must fast and pray
prostrate before Him I lay
and find in Him joy and peace
it is a consistent continual reach
under arrest
without duress
I must remain
without becoming vain
die to self I must
so I will not lust
under arrest
without duress
feasting on the word
to tell others who have never heard
the good news
and have other views
that Jesus saves
from the sea waves
of sin!
Under arrest
without duress
in Him I find sweet rest!!!

FOR IT ONLY 'UNDER ARREST' THAT WE RECEIVE OUR BLESSED REDEEMER'S BEST...BEING PUT TO THE TEST...NOT TO STRESS...NOT TO IMPRESS...BUT TO REACH THE OPPRESSED...FOR HOW CAN THEY FIND REST?...ONLY WHEN WE, WITH OUR LIVES...CAN ATTEST. AS PAUL SAYS, 'WE ARE PRISONERS OF THE LORD'....WILLING PRISONERS. IF WE ARE FOLLOWERS OF CHRIST AND IN 'HIS' ARMY THEN WE ARE CONSTANTLY UNDER ATTACK BY THE ENEMY'S ARMY AND IF WE ARE NOT...THEN SOMETHING IS TERRIBLY WRONG. WHEN WE GET OUR REWARD WE WILL HAVE 'FOUGHT A GOOD FIGHT' AND WILL HAVE THE SCARS OF THIS WORLD'S BATTERING BUT, WE WILL ALSO HAVE THE 'VICTORY'! 'UNDER ARREST'...A GEM!
