My baby girl's baby girl
by Maggie Elizabeth

Saturday, November 07, 2009
Rated "G" by the Author.

I held her in my arms today, she locked her gaze on mine

We stared into each other's souls, that moment out of time

I saw the recognition there, I know she felt it too

For deep inside her baby blues, an ancient stare came through

It was as though she tried so hard to tell me there and then

It's nice to finally see your face, I've missed you faithful friend

Our spirits dance across the stage of neverending time

And our connection never ends, our dance keeps us entwined

This little baby girl I held, so innocent yet wise

Looked up at me and let me stare into my Mother's eyes

She couldn't know, this little soul, the shock that ran me through

At seeing in her tiny face, my Mother's gaze come through

For Mother left this earthly plane, a few long years ago

But today I held her in my arms, I'll never let her go.

Maggie, this is a very special child. She will always be protected by your mother's angel arms. Such a beautiful connection to have with your baby granddaughter. I have a new grandson (my son's son) and he can see more than any of us know. I feel a special bond with my grandson also. We are open to the Universe and all good things come to those who are accepting.
Much peace, love, and light,

I felt this one and it brought back a memory, my own mother left this world much too young, and I recall comforting my brother, who had just become a father, by telling him much the same thing ... that he would see our mother in his sons eyes.

Maggie,

Written only as a loving grandmother could. When you see those eyes for the first time, you have to wonder what they are thinking. But for now, just love the babe.

Very beautiful, I can see your dance as you take this baby in your arms where words can't say what a Grandma feels
