Life Forerunners

Wasn't quite sure what to post this under. Can you remember as a child being in a certain place and just for a moment your mind went blank and you see images of adults that in later years came true like deja vu but in advance. That is what this picture reminded me of...for all us dreamers.

Life Forerunners

looking seaward

summer’s day

enthralled wonder

 waves at play

for a moment

time slips away

sees through time

mysterious way

their first date

moonlight kiss

a shining star

make a wish

hearts complete

enraptured bliss

wedding dress

baby’s kiss

parents calling

time to go

sunset creeps in

 steals the show

images fade

need time you know

but somewhere deep

a spark did grow…

When I was younger, yes, on rare occasions this sense of seeing, of being in this place or this situation would come to me and would be accompanied by a soft, glowing sense in my stomach. Beautifully written, my friend.

That crazy moment when you look at some familiar thing and you see into the future; just a glimpse and then the next crazy moment when it occurs, sometimes in slow motion. Yeah, I've been there. I've also gotten a bit used to them now. Love it. Liz

I have always wondered about Deja vu and why we have it? Did we know that special someone in another place and time? That spark that we remember always brings us back to that moment. Beautiful poem! Love, and hugs! ~Chessly

Indeed, Fee. You have reminded me of a number of experiences of déjà vu both in childhood and in adulthood. Nicely done. Love and peace,

I DO remember that, now that you mention it...& probably in the same place as 99% of my childhood was spent on a beach or its environs...e

I think you have visions of the future. Sometimes we just don't know where we've got our visions from.

Nicely-done Fee!!
