Jack Daniels Dream

Not really sure where this one came from....naughty muse....giggle....sometimes we just have to lighten up! Not gonna let this dreary weather keep me down! No siree!

There beside the sparkling lake
In the last remnants of light,
She was his every dream come true
The wood nymph in the night!
She knew he was there, but she didn’t care
She felt so alive and free!
Silken breeze caressing her skin
The way it was meant to be!
A sexual fantasy come to life
For him beside the lake,
Brazenly aware that he was there
Watching every move she’d make!
She teased him with her wanton guile
A goddess in the pale moonlight!
Using every trick she knew…
The wood nymph in the night!
Transfixed, heart pounding in his chest
Desire near drove him mad!
She was scorching passion personified…
Best dream he ever had!
She danced for him long into the night
Until dawn began to slither!
Breaking the naughty wood nymph spell
Leaving him all in a dither!
He still camps there beside the lake
And every now and then,
He has that same Jack Daniels dream
And the wood nymph’s back again!

Pardon my boldness, but this one almost caused me to have a wood nymph of my own. Definitely having a little Jack, before going to bed tonight.

Great write Anna, thanks Dick

Now I know why I always take a bottle of Jack with me whenever I go camping!

Sometimes a Jack Daniels dream will bring a Wood Nymph dream and other times, ulp, a really upset stomach.
Very cute poem, my friend. If I could but bottle some of our Southern California sunshine and heat I would gladly send it to you.

You have combined here that sense of nature you have and that wonderful imp nature as well and we get the benefit of a new kind of Annabel piece, at least from my short experience. But I like it good.

Bourbon to me was always a sweet drink. Give me Scotch and a good cigar anytime. Now reading this fine piece brings back days of yesterday. But I went to bars where the women would strip and be easy. All in my dreams of course.

Naughty muse indeed. I dream in Absolut terms and all I seem to get is saw dust. Patrick

That's why my drink was Jim Beam. I always caught the wood nymph, and boy oh boy, was she ever glad I did. Jack Daniels, phooey!
