I very sadly still find most of my wonderful pets,

On the mean city streets or in the frigid woods;

But wherever homeless pets are, please help us,

To help them, have a Holiday Season, that is good.

The Home 4 The Holidays Campaign

Began out in California, back in 1999

This is the thirteenth year, it is being held

So many homeless pets today, a tragic crime

Animal shelters used to discourage Holiday adoptions

But far too many people still buy pets from Puppy Mills

Uncaring people still purchase expensive Holiday Gift Pets

Even though all of our animal shelters are all overflowing still

So today, over 3,500 animal shelters and rescue groups participate

In the National Iams Home 4 The Holidays Pet Adoption Campaign

The goal this year is to find new homes for one and a half million pets

Which are languishing in animal shelters, filled with loneliness and pain

If your very own family intends to get a new family pet member over the Holidays

Or if any of your neighbors in your community intend to soon add a brand new pet

Please encourage everyone that you know to Adopt-Not Shop, this Holiday Season

It’s time to help America’s homeless and abandoned pets, have the best Holiday yet

All of America’s Overflowing Animal Shelters

Are in Dire Need of Adopters and Donations;

Please Watch and Pass Along The Video Below.

And Check Out Mr. Beefy’s Recent Adoption,

I’ve Posted It In A.D.’s Articles Section Today;

I Hope Many Shelter Animals Will Be As Fortunate.

Dear Mr. Ed,

If you can, encourage everyone to copy and post your message on their websites and forward it all over the country via. e-mail. I for one will e-mail it to the friends I know because we all need to be reminded. Americans react heavily to advertisement which is not a good way to react. I always say "If a doctor or a vet needs to advertise then they are probably not getting good referrals." My wife works for a great doctor that never advertised and he is overwhelmed. Thank God for the internet - if we use it properly we can tell the folks there is a better way than to pay, pay and pay. Let's face it - someone has to pay for all of these adverts and it all goes back to the consumer. What does this have to do with pets? Well we are all going to the doghouse and the poorhouse trying to impress others with store bought pets when the love they get from the pet is the same. My next door neighbor got an abused poodle from a shelter and it is one of the most sensitive loving pets on this planet. Yes, we all need to get the word out. Santa supports the Shelter!

God Bless You Ed,

John Michael

Loving words spoken by a true animal lover. May many pets at nearby shelters find a warm and happy home so that they also can have a happy holiday season.
