Anomaly

The growing spiritual struggle that young men face in an age of science and technology.

Anomaly

An anomaly, deviating from the societal norm, viewed as inferior like the cuneiform.

Gazing into the depths of space, his head in the state of hyperextension,

Contemplating suicide while waiting for divine intervention.

Searching desperately for the Creator, the Sustainer, the Supreme.

Frustrated with the world, teary eyed, he screams

Asking why the All-Mighty God is nowhere to be seen,

Just a confused, angry and overwhelmed teen.

Overheard by his parents in his state of physcological distress

They asked him which white friend he is trying to impress.

Torn between blind faith and innate curiosity his mind has reached dichotomy,

He has deviated from the straight path, a disbeliever, an anomaly.
